EICR and Landlord Certificate Electricians in Greater Manchester

An Electrical Installation Condition Report, or EICR, is an inspection and test of a property's fixed wiring. It codes any faults by urgency and says when the next check is due.

For private landlords in England it is a legal duty: the installation must be inspected and tested at least every five years, tenants get a copy within 28 days, and remedial work is done within 28 days or sooner if the report says so. Councils can fine landlords up to £30,000. Homeowners buying an older house often order one too. Every firm below says on its own website that it carries out EICRs or landlord electrical certificates.
